THE BIG UPDATE

Today I find myself living alone for the first time in my 30 years, yet in some ways I’ve never felt more connected, having the support and love from both an amazing local community and friends so close that the feel like family from all over the world.

STACKING INTENTIONS

And when everything lines up, and you find reason for being - a meaning to make bearable the suffering you’ll inevitably face throughout life at times. That’s really the bigger picture of Causeway Living...

THE BOOK

I learned that acting upon things that feel like "meaningful coincidences" can create powerful, positive change in your life. Change is inevitable, so why not orient it in the direction of your choosing? A great way of doing that is setting an intention and acting on what feels meaningful. Whether that meaning is all in your head or some mystical universal 'woo', what does it matter if the results benefit your life?

KEITH'S AWAKENING

In hindsight, not knowing about the extent of the hike up Slieve Donard worked in my favour because I didn’t give myself an excuse to cry off. I now realise I’m physically capable of much more than I thought possible a couple of weeks ago. My next challenge is to keep up the momentum, so...

Bigger rocks, less hands, more progress 👌 this 1 year before/after shot has helped me see that consistent effort, a little practice most days and almost anything is possible.

A reminder of how much change is possible in just half a year 🌨☀ forget about the seasons, I'm talking about turning that banana-stand into a proper handstand 😅🍌

PRAYER

It really reaffirms my belief that setting your mind on something and being humble enough to ask for help (be that through setting intentions, prayer, goal-setting, whatever you feel comfortable calling it) and following that up with a willingness to work and keep faith that 'everything is going to be ok', or that everything is already ok if you can just adjust your attitude towards it, you'll be astounded at what can happen. Just look where I was only 3 years ago as a living example.

SUMMER SOLSTICE

Even though my life is as challenging as ever, the quality of ‘problems’ (even though I don’t like to use that word) are much better. Instead of struggling to get up a set of stairs because my joints are sore, now my struggle is getting up in front of people and taking responsibility to help them improve their lives too. I’m pouring my heart and soul because of an important promise…

THE DRAGON

I've been learning a lot about archetypes, heroism and the call to adventure recently. Things with so much depth that the only way to really share them is through 'story'. When boiled down to facts, figures and analysis - the emotions and feelings often get completely lost...

GIANT'S CAUSEWAY

To lay my hand on one of these natural wonders and lift my entire bodyweight above them felt incredibly moving. A powerful reminder that just a few years ago I struggled to even pull my bodyweight out of bed or off the sofa. And if I can, you can too....

LIKE A TREE

"Metaphorical 'dead leaves' come in many forms. We all have things in life it's important to let go of in order to let new buds grow. I'll list some examples below in the hope of one resonating with you and perhaps encourage you let something drop too..."

LAUGHTER

"Laughter is the best medicine", I love this proverb. Though when a good friend sent me this picture from recent travels, my first reaction was to cringe... my ego laser-focused in on my goofy expression from, ironically, laughing!

MICHAEL'S WEEK 4

"A month in and I'm getting 4 to 5 hours of music theory a week done that I wasn't before starting this program. Apart from feeling healthier and more focused, making so much more of my time has been the most noticeable benefit so far."

BE KIND

"The level of our success is limited only by our imagination and no act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted." - Aesop. A quote that often has the first half omitted. I've no idea why though, I feel like that's where the magic is...

JAMES' WEEK 1

“I can’t believe how much more focused I felt after only a few days. My concentration has been way better at work and I’m getting distracted less easily. I’m looking a bit and feeling a lot healthier already, which is the ultimate goal, but I’ve noticed other things like my eyes being less sensitive to daylight. I feel more alert and connected to whatever I’m doing and even my anxiety has less impact on my day.”

Once we get out of the water it stars raining and it may be the most incredible looking thing I'd ever seen in my life. Rain on the enchanted stream, taking it all in with Stian, Paul and Anthony nearby. Water flowing looks crazy. It's breathing.. Going into trees because water level so high. It looks pink and hazy, an effect of the cactus I think...
