DISCOVER THE COLD, THE WILD, THE OTHERS
Join certified Wim Hof Method instructor Scott Riley at Bryansford Cottage for a weekend of discovering the WHM Fundamentals and going deeper with a small group of like-minded others.
With only 5 places available on each retreat, this is a highly focused but fun few days beginning Friday evening and running through to Sunday late afternoon in and around Tollymore Forest.
Learn skills in the Wim Hof Method fundamentals: Breathwork, Mindset & The Cold, that you can take home for benefits like improved cardiovascular fitness, stress management and more.
"I've had experience with cold water and breath-work in the past, but the method Scott taught us created a totally different experience. Practicing this has created a noticeable improvement in my training." - Stephen Frazer, Tai-Jutsu Master
Just 5 places will be available for each event. Each Tribe of 6, including me, Scott Riley - founder of Causeway Living (read my story here) will grow over a weekend of breath-work and focus training, cold water immersion, fun & games, sharing and group discussion.
"Small steps to Giant Living." - Scott Riley
FRIDAY: WE BEGIN
FULLY IN AND LET IT GO
Bryansford Cottage will be available for check-in from 7pm. Get your first experience of the WHM breathwork practice and share introductions with an evening workshop beginning 8pm.
The twin rooms have mountain views, shared with someone of the same gender plus the first person signing up will be afforded a double room to themselves. Wander the gardens, enjoy the fireplace and settle into luxury surroundings.
SATURDAY: WE GO DEEP
ACTIVE • OUTDOORS • TOGETHER
We begin early with another breathwork session in Bryansford Cottage’s studio hall, with the opportunity to go deeper having practiced the night before, then out and into the wild.
No two retreats will be the same, with an abundance of incredible locations and cold water pools, different mindset work or fun activities to enjoy in nature - the only guarantees are laughter, learning and living a big experience.
SUNDAY: WE INTEGRATE
TAKING THE LESSONS HOME
Another early start for the final breathwork practice and the chance to go deeper still, fully familiarised with the method and ready to really let go before venturing back into nature.
We’ll take time for a different ‘cold’ experience to the previous day plus more movement and games too, but the main focus on the final day will go towards the integration of all the big experiences you’ve had, back into your daily lives.
WHAT ELSE TO EXPECT
"I already look after my health and fitness, focusing on diet, nutrition and the bigger picture of holistic health, but the breathing and cold exposure Scott teaches has really helped me discover new areas of growth." - Kaja Choma, Personal Trainer
All food, accommodation (room shared with same gender) and activities are of course covered in the cost. Please contact me if you’ve any specific questions or requirements that would need to be catered for before booking.
An email will be sent out in advance of the retreat regarding preparation, but other than starting to turn your shower cold at the end of your regular warm shower if you’ve no prior experience with the cold, that’s it.
The retreat will include forest walking and physical activity for which you’ll need to be capable, but won’t require a high level of base fitness to participate. Epilepsy sufferers or pregnant persons are unfortunately not eligible.
